According to the Spanish rail operator Adif, the accident took place in the province of Andalusia. Regional health minister Antonio Sanz stated that 73 injured passengers have been transported to six different hospitals across the region. As recovery efforts unfold, local residents have been actively providing assistance, bringing blankets and water to help those affected.
