Urgent: Trump’s Cognitive Health Under Close Scrutiny, Expert Says
UPDATE: A prominent psychologist is raising alarms about Donald Trump’s cognitive health, revealing that ongoing assessments may indicate a serious health issue. Dr. John Gartner has suggested that frequent Montreal Cognitive Assessments indicate monitoring for cognitive decline rather than initial testing.
Dr. Gartner’s comments come after Trump claimed he “got every answer right” on cognitive tests during a flight on Air Force One. Speaking in April and again in October, Trump touted his cognitive abilities, insinuating that others, like Jasmine Crockett and AOC, would struggle with similar evaluations.
“Trump has ‘given the game away,'” Dr. Gartner told The Daily Beast, emphasizing that repeated testing often signals a need to monitor existing cognitive issues. He elaborated, “If you’re giving it to him three times, that means you’re not assessing dementia. That means you’re monitoring dementia.”
As of now, the psychologist believes that the assessments may be tracking the progression of potential dementia or strokes. He stated, “They have to see how bad he’s doing now,” indicating a concerning pattern that could reflect a significant change in Trump’s mental health.
These urgent revelations raise critical questions about Trump’s cognitive fitness, particularly as he navigates his political career. The implications of this ongoing health evaluation could resonate with voters and political analysts alike.
Dr. Gartner insists that mental health assessments should consider changes against an individual’s baseline. “If somebody doubles their rate of speed, that’s a mental status change of some kind,” he noted, highlighting the importance of understanding cognitive health in the context of age and political responsibility.
As developments continue to unfold, all eyes remain on Trump’s cognitive health and its potential impact on his future. What happens next in this critical evaluation remains to be seen, but the urgency surrounding Trump’s mental fitness could shape the political landscape as we approach the next election.
This story is evolving rapidly, and updates are expected as more information becomes available. Stay tuned for the latest developments on this critical issue.
