Celebrate Lunar New Year with Lion Dance and Festivities in Vegas
The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas is set to celebrate the Lunar New Year on February 17, 2026, with an array of festive activities honoring the Year of the Horse. The celebration will include a traditional lion dance, complimentary red envelopes, special retail offerings, and vibrant decorations throughout the shopping venue.
Illuminated Dragon Display
As part of the festivities, a stunning 22-foot long, 6-foot wide, and 12-foot high illuminated dragon will take center stage on the Fortuna Terrace. This traditional symbol of good fortune and strength is adorned with 30,000 LED lights, creating a dazzling display that is sure to attract visitors. The dragon, resting on a luxurious red carpet and surrounded by hand-painted wood pillars and gold fencing, serves as a remarkable backdrop for the Lunar New Year celebrations.
Lion Dance and Cultural Performances
The highlight of the day will be the lion dance performance, which begins at 12 p.m. at The Fountain of The Gods and runs until 1 p.m.. Guests can enjoy the vibrant display featuring three magnificent lions accompanied by traditional musicians. The performance, conducted by the Lohan School, will emphasize cultural richness and community engagement, as the school has been dedicated to preserving this art for over 30 years.
Following the lion dance, complimentary Luxury Red Envelopes symbolizing luck and happiness will be distributed to guests. These envelopes will also be available at select boutiques within The Forum Shops, including high-end retailers like Versace, Tory Burch, and Saint Laurent, among others.

Participating shops and restaurants are preparing special events and exclusive offers to mark the Year of the Horse.
