The No. 17 Texas Tech Lady Raiders secured a thrilling 71-66 victory against West Virginia on January 17, 2024, at Hope Coliseum. This win not only solidified their position atop the Big 12 standings but also marked a significant milestone, being their first victory in Morgantown since January 14, 2015.

Senior guard Bailey Maupin led the charge with a standout performance, scoring a season-high 27 points. Her fourth-quarter explosion was pivotal, as she netted 13 points in the final frame alone.
