BREAKING: A New Jersey restaurant manager has been charged with supplying drugs and alcohol to ten minors across multiple locations, including a Saladworks and a Wendy’s in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The charges against Richard “Ricky” Brooks, 33, of Freehold, come after a shocking investigation initiated by a tip to the state’s child abuse hotline, ChildLine, in April 2023.

Authorities report that Brooks allegedly provided minors with a wide array of substances, including medical marijuana cartridges, nicotine cigarettes, and his prescribed Adderall. The investigation revealed that these activities took place between 2020 and 2024, while Brooks was managing the restaurants and even at his apartment in Doylestown.

Police confirmed that during questioning, the ten juveniles detailed how Brooks groomed them for this illicit behavior. In addition to distributing drugs, he is also accused of committing an indecent assault by grabbing a juvenile male’s penis without consent.

A warrant was issued for Brooks on multiple counts, including corruption of minors and indecent assault. He was arrested on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2023, and is currently being held on $100,000 bail at the Bucks County Jail.

This alarming case raises serious concerns about the safety of minors in the workplace and the responsibilities of adult managers. The community is urged to remain vigilant as authorities continue their investigation into Brooks’ activities and any potential additional victims.

As the situation develops, further details will emerge regarding Brooks’ court proceedings and the broader implications of this incident on local businesses and child safety regulations.
