LIV Golf has announced that the Team Championship will return to The Cardinal at Saint John’s Resort in Plymouth, Michigan, in 2026. Scheduled from August 27 to 30, this event will mark the second consecutive year that the golf league will host its season finale at this location.

The decision to return to The Cardinal follows a successful 2025 championship, which showcased the league’s unique focus on team competition. According to LIV Golf Executive Vice President and Head of Events, Ross Hallett, “Team competition is at the core of our League, and our annual Team Championship is one of our biggest events of the year.”

Hallett emphasized the positive experience LIV Golf had with fans and the local community, stating, “The course layout for team match play, the fan experiences, and world-class concerts made Saint John’s Resort, Wayne County, and the state of Michigan fantastic hosts for LIV Golf this past season.”

The partnership with the Pulte Family Charitable Foundation will continue to enhance the event. Hallett expressed excitement about building on the momentum from 2025, indicating that they are eager to collaborate with local stakeholders to create an engaging atmosphere for fans and participants alike.

The LIV Golf Team Championship is anticipated to attract significant attention, with competitive play and entertainment at its core. Fans can expect an event that combines high-stakes golf with a vibrant community atmosphere, set against the backdrop of Michigan’s scenic landscapes.

As the league prepares for the upcoming season, the return to The Cardinal signifies a commitment to fostering team spirit and delivering memorable experiences for players and spectators. The LIV Golf Team Championship promises to be one of the highlights of the sporting calendar in 2026.
