Mother Dies After Fall from 10th Floor with Twin Sons in Arms

A mother tragically lost her life after falling from the tenth floor of an apartment building in Madrid while holding her three-year-old twin sons. The incident occurred shortly after 09:00 on December 6, 2023, in the residential neighborhood of Ciudad Lineal, approximately 30 minutes from the city center. The 48-year-old woman, identified as Maria, died at the scene, while her sons were rushed to separate hospitals with critical injuries.

One of the twins was taken to the 12 de Octubre University Hospital, and the other was admitted to Hospital Infantil Niño Jesús. Medical professionals have expressed grave concerns regarding the condition of the more seriously injured child, with fears that he may not survive.
