URGENT UPDATE: Pine Grove Area High School has just announced its March Students of the Month, recognizing outstanding achievements by two exceptional students. This announcement highlights the dedication and diverse talents of these individuals at a pivotal moment in their academic journeys.

Samantha Eisenhauer, a standout student from Tremont, has been honored for her extensive involvement in extracurricular activities including the National Honor Society, chorus, band council, SADD, cross country, girls wrestling, track and field, and JROTC, where she serves as cadet captain. Eisenhauer, the daughter of Tim Eisenhauer and Kahla Waldron, plans to enlist in the Army National Guard while pursuing a nursing degree, aiming to become a postpartum nurse and a chef within her military service.

In addition, Brady Gehres, from Donaldson, is recognized for his multifaceted participation in soccer, track and field, archery, e-sports, and marching band, as well as his role in the History National Honor Society and Aevidum. The son of John and Kelita Gehres, Gehres has set his sights on majoring in history education and playing soccer at Penn State Schuylkill.

This recognition not only celebrates the academic and extracurricular excellence of these students but also serves as an inspiration for their peers. Both Eisenhauer and Gehres exemplify the spirit of commitment and ambition that characterizes Pine Grove Area High School.
