Jalen Duren’s 31 Points Propel Pistons to 10th Straight Win
UPDATE: In a thrilling return from an ankle injury, Jalen Duren scored 31 points as the Detroit Pistons clinched their 10th consecutive victory by defeating the Indiana Pacers 127-112 on November 17, 2025. This marks the Pistons’ longest winning streak since their impressive 11-game run back in the 2007-08 season.
Despite missing key players, including Cade Cunningham (hip), Tobias Harris (ankle), and Ausar Thompson (ankle), the Pistons showcased their depth with Daniss Jenkins adding 26 points and Javonte Green contributing 20 points off the bench. The team’s resilience is evident as they navigate through injuries, solidifying their position as a top contender in the Eastern Conference.
Meanwhile, the Pacers are struggling, suffering their eighth consecutive defeat. With a dismal record of 1-13, they are in the midst of their longest losing streak since the 2014-15 season. Pascal Siakam led Indiana with 29 points, but it wasn’t enough to halt their downward spiral.
The game took a decisive turn in the first quarter when the Pistons seized the lead with a 3-pointer from Duncan Robinson. Detroit surged ahead with a remarkable 20-4 run in the second quarter, establishing a commanding 46-27 lead. Indiana fought back but could not overcome the deficit, entering halftime trailing 62-46.
While the Pacers outscored the Pistons 56-55 in the second half, their efforts fell short, leaving them with an 0-8 record on the road. The Pistons are now the first team in the Eastern Conference to reach 12 wins this season.
Looking ahead, the Pacers will aim to break their losing streak against the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday, while the Pistons prepare to host the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday.
This game exemplifies the Pistons’ grit and determination, making them a team to watch as the season progresses. Fans and analysts alike will be eager to see how both teams respond in their upcoming matchups.
