However, a five-minute major penalty assessed to Trey Clauson for contact to the head shifted the momentum. Just two minutes later, the Knights found themselves facing a 5-on-3 disadvantage, allowing Davies to capitalize with two quick goals from Mason Pederson and Dom Diebert.
