URGENT UPDATE: The Buffalo Bills have just announced a significant shift in their media strategy, confirming that starting in 2026, they will produce and distribute all radio broadcasts in-house. This move ends a longstanding 14-year partnership with WGR-AM 550 and its Rochester affiliate, 950-AM The Fan.

As part of this transition, all broadcasts will no longer be available on traditional radio. Instead, fans can stream content exclusively on BuffaloBills.com and through the official Bills app. This change reflects the evolving landscape of media consumption and aims to enhance fan engagement, according to the team’s leadership.

Beginning February 9, the popular show “One Bills Live,” which airs weekdays from 1-3 p.m., will also be produced in-house while continuing to simulcast on MSG Western New York. Co-hosts Chris Brown and Steve Tasker will retain their roles, ensuring a seamless transition for loyal viewers.

Pete Guelli, the Bills’ chief operating officer, emphasized the importance of this change, stating,

“The delivery of media content has changed dramatically over the years. We believe the model of in-house production, distribution and sales will better position the organization to provide access to our fans as well as allow us to further engage with the local business community.”

This strategic pivot underscores the Bills’ commitment to directly connecting with their fanbase and adapting to modern media trends. As the team prepares for this transition, fans can expect enhanced interactions and exclusive content tailored to their interests.

Stay tuned for further updates as this story develops and the Buffalo Bills gear up for a new era of broadcasting!
