BTS Tops Brand Reputation Index; BLACKPINK Sees Huge Surge
URGENT UPDATE: The BTS brand has just been confirmed as the leader in the latest Singer Brand Reputation Index, showcasing its immense popularity and influence in the music industry. Released by the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, the index reveals critical insights into consumer behavior and brand engagement.
As of today, BTS’s brand reputation index stands at an impressive 7,409,314, reflecting a significant increase of 8.81% from its December figure of 6,809,220. The index categories include participation, communication, media, and community values, with BTS dominating every segment. Specifically, their participation index reached 261,097, media index soared to 927,857, communication index hit 2,545,645, and community index peaked at 3,674,716.
In a remarkable surge, BLACKPINK secured the second position with a brand reputation index of 6,213,487, marking a staggering increase of 76.65% from 3,517,427 in December. The group’s participation index stood at 148,866, media at 545,540, communication at 2,325,330, and community at 3,193,750. This boost follows the group’s successful pink-themed world tour, which has left a lasting impression on fans.
Lim Young Woong, in third place, recorded a brand reputation index of 5,231,902, showing a decline of 13.60% from December. His participation index was 881,305, media index was 1,528,397, communication index was 1,620,725, and community index was 1,201,475.
Director Gu Chang Hwan stated, “The BTS brand, which announced a full-group comeback with a world tour, ranked first, while BLACKPINK, impressing fans with their recent performances, ranked second.” He also noted the positive influence of Lim Young Woong’s fandom community, contributing to his strong position.
The top five is rounded out by Hwasa, who ranks fourth, and IVE in fifth, the latter of which is generating buzz ahead of a comeback scheduled for February.
This latest index highlights the intense competition among these top artists and underscores their significant impact on global music and culture. Fans are eagerly anticipating the outcomes of upcoming releases and tours, which could further influence their standings in future rankings.
