Art Lab Thursdays Launches Creative After-School Program for Kids

BREAKING: Starting January 29, children in Fort Worth will have an exciting new opportunity to unleash their creativity after school with the launch of Art Lab Thursdays. This innovative program, organized by Panther City Artists, provides a dynamic space for kids aged 6-12 to explore a variety of art materials and express themselves freely.

Every Thursday from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM, students will engage in a relaxed and supportive environment designed to foster artistic confidence. The program begins with a short, guided introduction to the day’s activities, followed by open studio time where participants can paint, draw, sculpt, and experiment with different materials.

The focus of Art Lab Thursdays is on the joy of creation rather than perfection. Kids will be encouraged to embrace their unique artistic processes, emphasizing creativity over comparison. Art activities will include a wide range of mediums such as painting and mixed media, clay and sculpture, drawing and mark-making, as well as collage and building materials.

Parents can choose from flexible registration options: a $25 drop-in fee per session or a $95 monthly membership covering four Thursdays. The program ensures that children receive the support and encouragement they need to explore their artistic potential.
