Ariel Winter Ditches Underwear in Bold Video, Defends Body Image
UPDATE: Ariel Winter has sparked intense discussion today after posting a daring video showing her in revealing cut-out pants and a tiny black bra. The 27-year-old actress, known for her role as Alex Dunphy on Modern Family, shared the bold clip on social media earlier today, captivating fans while showcasing her impressive vocal talent.
In the video filmed in an empty theatre, Winter humorously quipped, “Hey MTV, welcome to my crib,” before performing “Part of Your World” from Disney’s The Little Mermaid. Her rendition has left fans in awe, prompting her co-star, Rico Rodriguez, to comment, “Need a full season of this!”
However, the post is not just about her stunning appearance and singing skills. Winter has also bravely addressed critical issues surrounding body image and online harassment. Following her recent video, she took to Instagram to speak out against trolls who target her appearance. In her heartfelt message, she emphasized the importance of self-acceptance, stating, “Every time someone bullies me online, it gives me a chance to re-emphasize to my fans, and even myself, how important self-acceptance is.”
Winter further highlighted her personal struggles with online predators, revealing the lasting trauma she carries from being targeted at just 12 years old. She candidly shared with DailyMail.com how her experience in Hollywood exposed her to inappropriate messages from older men, stating, “I don’t wanna say too much about it, but by the time I was on a laptop and cell phone, I was getting inappropriate messages from older men, and it caused trauma.”
In response to her traumatic experiences, Winter is now actively collaborating with the organization SOSA (Safe From Online Sex Abuse). This initiative involves women posing as decoys to lure in online predators, working alongside law enforcement to facilitate arrests. Winter described the operation as “nerve-racking,” yet rewarding, acknowledging that it sometimes triggers her past traumas.
“I didn’t realize it would bring up some of the things past traumas for me that it did,” she confessed.
This blend of vulnerability and empowerment is resonating with her followers, who continue to support her in her fight against online bullying and sexual abuse. Winter’s latest actions not only shed light on her personal journey but also inspire others to advocate for change within the entertainment industry.
As the situation develops, Ariel Winter stands as a powerful voice in the fight against online harassment and body shaming, encouraging fans to embrace their true selves and support one another.
Stay tuned for more updates on Winter’s journey and her ongoing advocacy efforts.
