William Keith, Beloved Bowler and Family Man, Passes Away at 88

William Joseph Keith, a cherished member of his family and community, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2025, at the age of 88. His death resulted from complications related to congestive heart failure and pneumonia. Keith’s life was marked by dedication to his family, passion for bowling, and a long career in the amusement industry.

Born on January 24, 1937, in McAlester, Oklahoma, Keith moved to California at the age of 12. He settled in the Maywood area, where he would eventually build a life filled with family and friendships. Following his high school years, he served in the Army for two years, an experience that shaped his character and resilience.

On July 27, 1963, Keith married his beloved wife, Mary Ann Keith, née Wallace. Their marriage lasted 46 years until her passing in 2009. Together, they welcomed two children: Kirk, born in 1965, and Krista, born in 1971. Keith took great pride in his role as a father and later as a grandfather and great-grandfather, leaving behind a legacy that includes three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

For over 30 years, Keith contributed his skills to G&G Amusement and CA Robinson, where he was known for his dedication and work ethic. After retiring, he continued to be active in his community by working at Angel Stadium for a decade, where he enjoyed the camaraderie of fellow workers and fans alike.

Bowling was a significant part of Keith’s life. He was an enthusiastic bowler, participating in leagues and tournaments. Even at the age of 88, he maintained a rigorous schedule, bowling three times a week. His passion for the sport made him a beloved figure among fellow bowlers and friends.

Keith’s family remembers him for his warmth, humor, and unwavering love. In honoring his memory, they invite those who wish to pay tribute to consider planting a living memorial in his name.

William Keith is survived by his children, Kirk and Krista, along with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will carry forward his legacy of love and dedication. His passing leaves a void in the lives of many, but his spirit will live on through the memories shared by family and friends.
