C-SPAN Interviews Alex Marlow on Lawfare Against Trump
C-SPAN recently featured an in-depth interview with Alex Marlow, Editor-in-Chief of Breitbart News, regarding his new book, Breaking the Law. The discussion focused on the concept of lawfare and its implications for President Trump and his supporters. Marlow asserts that this legal strategy represents a significant threat to the integrity of the justice system, alleging a left-wing effort to manipulate legal processes for political gain.
During the interview, Marlow outlined the book’s central thesis, which contends that there has been a systematic attempt to undermine Trump through politically motivated legal actions. He describes this as part of a broader campaign to control the nation’s justice system and influence electoral outcomes. “The effort to disqualify President Trump by any means necessary by the legal elite in coordination with Joe Biden’s White House is the scandal of the century,” Marlow stated. He believes that his book will gain increasing relevance as investigations into these legal strategies continue.
The interview was conducted by C-SPAN host Kimberly Adams during a special holiday author series, where audience members from various political backgrounds were invited to ask questions. Marlow expressed appreciation for the format, noting that it fosters open debate and allows for comprehensive discussions.
Marlow’s book has received notable endorsements, including recognition from Trump himself, who called it a “must read.” Additionally, figures such as Stephen K. Bannon, Bill O’Reilly, and investigative journalist Peter Schweizer have praised its insights. Marlow emphasized that the legal challenges faced by Trump are politically driven and highlighted the role of the Biden Justice Department in allegedly weaponizing the legal system against him.
In the interview, Marlow specifically criticized several prominent figures, including James Comey, Hillary Clinton, and Judge Hannah Dugan, for their involvement in what he terms “lawfare.” He argued that these actions not only affect Trump but also have broader implications for the political landscape.
“This book will change the trajectory of the country if everyone reads it — so I sincerely hope you do,” Marlow asserted, underlining his belief in the urgency of these issues.
In related news, Marlow is set to host a national radio show on the Salem Radio Network starting January 5, 2024, which will air from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. The show will feature an expanded podcast series, increasing to eight episodes per week, alongside the daily live radio broadcast.
Marlow’s insights into the intersection of law and politics continue to spark discussions among various audiences, as he navigates a complex landscape in contemporary American discourse. The implications of lawfare, as outlined in his book, suggest a significant shift in how legal strategies are employed in political contexts, marking a pivotal moment in U.S. political history.
