Pigeon Unveils Innovative Baby Care Solutions at CIIE 2025
Pigeon showcased its latest advancements in baby care and feeding technology at the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai on November 7, 2025. Under the theme “The Nest,” the company highlighted its commitment to innovation and quality in products designed for families. Celebrating 23 years in China, Pigeon emphasized its growth from local innovation to global leadership in the baby care sector.
In the CIIE Consumer Goods exhibition area (Hall 6.1), Pigeon’s baby feeding bottles stood out as a signature offering. The company’s President, Zhou Jianfeng, spoke about Pigeon’s journey, stating, “Our journey in China began by bringing products directly from Japan. Over time, Pigeon has deepened its commitment—building three manufacturing facilities and an R&D center in China, introducing advanced technologies and quality systems to deliver trusted solutions for local families.”
This year marked a significant milestone as Pigeon’s Skincare Research Center in China introduced an innovative infant epidermal skin model derived from iPS cell technology, which is rooted in Nobel Prize-winning research. This model addresses a pressing challenge in baby skincare: scientifically validating product efficacy for delicate infant skin. The company is now using this model to develop and test its proprietary formulations, including the flagship Vernix Baby Skincare Series, set to launch in 2025.
Celebrating 70 Years of Feeding Innovation
Visitors at Pigeon’s booth experienced the company’s rich 70-year history of feeding innovation. The journey began in 1949 with the introduction of the first nursing bottle, which featured a screw-on wide-neck design that set a new standard for ease and comfort. This innovation distinguished Pigeon from its competitors that used the straight-insert method at the time. Today, Pigeon’s third-generation Soft Touch Wide-Neck Nursing Bottle closely replicates the nursing experience, supporting millions of families worldwide.
Recognizing the needs of modern parents, Pigeon combines technical excellence with contemporary design. The brand also places a strong emphasis on supporting infants with special needs. To date, Pigeon has assisted over 36,000 children born with cleft lip and palate through dedicated support programs. Additionally, more than 9,000 premature infants have received essential nutrition via Pigeon-supported breast milk banks within neonatal intensive care units.
At CIIE 2025, Pigeon reinforced its commitment to advancing infant care by signing a renewed strategic cooperation agreement with the National Center for Women and Children’s Health. This agreement aims to strengthen science-based initiatives focused on infant feeding and maternal wellness, further cementing Pigeon’s role as a leader in the industry.
In summary, Pigeon’s presence at the CIIE 2025 not only highlighted its innovative products but also illustrated its ongoing dedication to improving the lives of families in China and beyond. The brand’s commitment to quality, research, and community support continues to shape its global business strategy.
