UltraSense Systems has announced a significant milestone in the automotive industry, surpassing **3 million shipments** of its AEC-Q100-qualified HMI Controller. This achievement reflects the growing adoption of the company’s Ultrasound Intelligent Platform, which encompasses a comprehensive technology stack that integrates MEMS transducers, mixed-signal ASICs, firmware, algorithms, and complete human-machine interface (HMI) modules.

The Ultrasound Intelligent Platform represents a vertically integrated approach that allows UltraSense to optimize each component of its technology. By designing MEMS transducers for optimal ASIC performance, tuning ASICs for algorithmic robustness, and enhancing algorithms through firmware intelligence, the company delivers interfaces that are not only thinner and more reliable but also smarter than traditional mechanical and capacitive solutions.

Validation of Scalability and Future Growth

Reaching the **3 million unit** mark validates the scalability and manufacturability of UltraSense’s platform. This accomplishment paves the way for the commercialization of new products derived from the same core architecture. Innovations such as **UltraSwitch™** door modules, **UltraSlide™** steering-wheel sliders, and **UltraTouch™** infotainment interfaces are expected to enhance automotive interior applications significantly.

Mo Maghsoudnia, Founder and CEO of UltraSense Systems, stated, “With 3 million units now delivered into automotive production, the message is clear—our Ultrasound Intelligent Platform is not just innovative, it’s proven at scale.” He emphasized that this milestone reinforces the company’s strategy of owning the entire technology stack, which enhances their ability to fine-tune performance, reduce costs, and accelerate the development of next-generation smart surfaces.

The demand for solid-state, software-defined controls in vehicles continues to grow. As original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) seek more intuitive user experiences, UltraSense is positioned to meet this need by providing interfaces that function effectively across various materials, including metal, glass, wood, leather, and innovative ShyTech surfaces.

Expanding Applications Beyond Automotive

UltraSense’s technology is not limited to automotive applications. The same integrated architecture is being adapted for emerging sectors like augmented reality (AR) and artificial intelligence (AI), including robotics and smart devices. The company’s commitment to redefining human interaction with machines is evident in its goal to deliver compact, robust, and software-defined controls across multiple industries.

With millions of units already in production, UltraSense Systems is setting a new standard for how consumers interact with technology, paving the way for advancements that extend far beyond the automotive industry. As the demand for innovative interaction solutions continues to rise, UltraSense remains at the forefront, ready to deliver the next generation of smart devices.
