The Annual Friends of the Conant Public Library Arts & Crafts Show will take place in a new location this year, providing ample parking and more room for vendors. Scheduled for **November 22, 2023**, the event invites shoppers to visit the Houghton Elementary and Chocksett Middle schools at **32 Boutelle Road** from **9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.**

This popular juried event has moved from its long-time home at the First Church in Sterling, reflecting its growing popularity. According to Beth Cyr, chairperson of the craft fair, the new venue will accommodate over **50 vendors**, allowing for an even greater variety of handmade holiday gifts.

The show will feature returning artisans showcasing a diverse array of products, including alpaca products, aromatherapy items, baskets, beach glass art, skincare products, candles, caned chairs, cork items, and crochet creations. Shoppers can also find embellished flannel shirts, felt products, floral items, jams and jellies, jewelry, ornaments, pottery, and Zen catchers.

New vendors will join the mix this year, offering unique items such as maple syrup, custom pet portraits, gourmet olive oils, and candles crafted in vintage teacups. The event will also include familiar traditions, such as a bake sale, cheese sale, raffle, and a lunch café, ensuring a festive atmosphere for all attendees.

Admission to the show is set at **$2**, with proceeds benefiting programs at the Conant Public Library. Each shopper will receive a Passport, which can be stamped at three different locations for a chance to win a prize. Notably, this year’s fair is co-sponsored by All One Credit Union.

While all vendor spaces have been filled, interested artisans can reach out to Beth Cyr via email at [email protected] to be added to a waiting list for next year’s event. For further details, the public can visit the Friends of the Conant Public Library Arts & Crafts Show on Facebook or follow @ConantLibraryCraftFair on Instagram, or visit the website at sterlinglibrary.org.

As the holiday season approaches, this event promises to be a highlight for local shoppers seeking unique, handcrafted items while supporting their community library.
