BREAKING: A man has been arrested in connection with a brazen theft at an Ulta Beauty store in Hesperia, California. Jerome Willis, aged 33, is accused of stealing approximately $1,000 worth of merchandise on October 1.

Authorities from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department responded swiftly to reports of the incident at the Ulta Beauty store located in the 12700 block of Main Street. Store employees indicated that Willis entered the store, loaded up on high-value items, and fled without paying. He made his getaway in a Chevy Traverse SUV.

The following day, while conducting a separate investigation, deputies from the Victorville Sheriff’s Station spotted the SUV linked to Willis. Upon searching the vehicle, they discovered the stolen merchandise inside, leading to his immediate arrest at the scene.

This theft has raised eyebrows in the local community, prompting concerns over retail crime in the area.

said a spokesperson from the sheriff’s department.
