SAGE Center Honored with Impact Award for Morrow County Festival

BREAKING NEWS: The SAGE Center & Event Center in Boardman has just been awarded the prestigious Impact Award for its annual Morrow County Harvest Festival at the Oregon Festivals & Events Association conference held from February 26-28, 2023, in Seaside. This recognition underscores the festival’s significant role in uniting families, businesses, and organizations every fall, making a lasting impact on the community.

Interim Manager Angel Aguilar and Facility and Event Coordinator Emilio Jaimez represented the SAGE Center at this important event, joining industry leaders to celebrate excellence in community engagement through festivals and events. Aguilar stated, “This conference was not only a wonderful experience for our team, but also a powerful reminder of what can be accomplished through strong community partnerships and shared commitment.”

In addition to the Impact Award, the SAGE Center also received the Fundraising Event of the Year Award for the successful Rebuilding Hope Dinner & Auction. This event benefits the Boardman Food Pantry, spotlighting the SAGE Center’s commitment to local families in need.

The SAGE Center team celebrated another milestone as Amazon was named Sponsor of the Year for its financial contributions and unwavering support of both the SAGE Center & Event Center and the Boardman Food Pantry. Community Engagement Coordinator Benjamin Harvey was acknowledged for his leadership and dedication to enhancing community impact through this partnership.
