Researchers Unveil Syntax in Wild Parrots’ Duets
Scientists have made a significant breakthrough in understanding the vocal communication of wild parrots, revealing that these birds use complex syntax in their duets. Led by Christine Dahlin, a professor of biology at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, this research sheds light on how parrots communicate in their natural habitats, a topic that has received limited attention in previous studies.
