CFCA QB Gavin Pritzkau Claims MVP at Orlando FBU Camp
UPDATE: In a stunning display of talent, Gavin Pritzkau, a quarterback from Central Florida Christian Academy, has been crowned the overall MVP at the 2026 Orlando FBU Camp, held at West Orange on Saturday. This victory marks a significant milestone for the rising freshman, who has been a dominant force on the camp circuit for years.
Pritzkau’s exceptional performance featured precision passing and tight spirals, showcasing skills that have made him a standout at camps since he was under 10 years old. Saturday’s event was hosted by Lo Wood, known as “The Kamp King,” but on this day, the title belonged to Pritzkau.
The camp also recognized other high school MVPs, including Harrison Leddy from Jacksonville University Christian, Ethan Williams of Starke Bradford, and Blaze Allen of Bishop Moore. Each player demonstrated extraordinary skill, contributing to an exciting day of competition.
Pritzkau, reflecting on his MVP achievement, stated,
“I feel great about the MVP. I’ve just been putting in hard work in the offseason, been in the gym.”
He emphasized his commitment to maintaining high standards for himself and inspiring younger players.
“I try to lead by example,” Pritzkau added. “When I see the younger guys, I try to interact with them because when I was their age, that’s what I would want.” His dedication to mentorship underscores his character and commitment to the sport.
Despite the recent transfer era impacting high school football, Pritzkau affirmed his loyalty to CFCA, saying,
“Yeah, God has a plan for me and that plan for me is to stay there. We’re gonna go to a state championship this year and we’re gonna win it.”
Rising star Blaze Allen, who was named linebacker MVP, also shared his enthusiasm for the camp and his team’s prospects. After an impressive season with the Hornets, which included reaching the 3A state semifinals, Allen has dedicated himself to training, stating,
“It feels great. I’m working out three times a day, just trying to get better.”
The 2026 Orlando FBU Camp not only highlighted individual talents but also underscored the importance of community and growth within the sport. Players from various schools, including the middle school MVP Saiid Eugenio from Tampa Pierce Middle, were celebrated for their skill and sportsmanship.
As the camp circuit continues, all eyes will be on Pritzkau and his impressive trajectory as he leads the next generation of players. Expect further updates as these athletes prepare for their upcoming seasons.
Stay tuned for more developments from this emerging talent and his peers as they aim for greatness in high school football.
