The Broiler Restaurant Reopens in Moscow After Long Hiatus
URGENT UPDATE: The beloved Moscow restaurant, The Broiler, is set to make a highly anticipated return on January 9, 2024. After being closed for nearly a decade, this iconic eatery will reopen its doors at the Best Western Plus University Inn, reigniting fond memories for locals and visitors alike.
Manager Kris Raasch expressed excitement about the revival, stating, “The Broiler was a big staple of Moscow for decades. When it closed, it was a big loss.” The restaurant will be situated in the dining area opposite the hotel’s Seasons Public House restaurant, paving the way for a fresh dining experience in the heart of the city.
Guests can expect a dynamic menu featuring exquisite fish, premium steaks, and fine wines sourced from the Pacific Northwest. Raasch emphasized that The Broiler aims to create a shared dining experience, with dishes presented in an a la carte style, encouraging communal enjoyment.
To celebrate the grand reopening, The Broiler will host a special New Year’s Eve dinner today, offering an exclusive sneak peek of its new menu. However, this event is already sold out, reflecting the eager anticipation surrounding the restaurant’s comeback.
The Broiler’s reopening comes after significant changes at the Best Western, where it, along with another restaurant, The Pantry, was transformed into meeting rooms and a breakfast area during renovations in 2014. The return of The Broiler is seen as a crucial step in restoring the hotel’s dining options and reviving a cherished local tradition.
The restaurant will operate from 5-9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, providing a perfect opportunity for families and friends to gather and enjoy a meal together. As excitement builds, this reopening marks a significant moment for the Moscow community, inviting everyone to rediscover the flavors and experiences that made The Broiler a beloved establishment for so many years.
Stay tuned for more updates as The Broiler prepares to welcome its first guests in nearly a decade!
