Cole Hutson Back with Team USA After Injury Scare, Day-to-Day

In college, Hutson has continued to shine at Boston University, where he has recorded 14 goals and 34 assists in the 2024-25 season alone. His consistent performance has made him a key player for Team USA, and Motzko emphasized his importance to the squad, stating, “He’s one of the best defensemen in the world.”

The team remains optimistic about Hutson’s potential return to the lineup before the tournament concludes. “We need to step up and carry our weight,” Motzko said. “The fact that he’s back with us is a relief. He’s going to be inspirational to the guys.”
