Man Shot in Central Fresno Dies; Neighbor Arrested for Murder
UPDATE: A man has died following a shooting incident in central Fresno, California, that occurred on July 18, 2023. Police have confirmed that the victim, 64-year-old Mark Tarasevic, was shot by his neighbor, 74-year-old John Gentry, who is now in custody.
The shooting took place around 6 PM on Clinton Avenue near Bond Street. Authorities report that Tarasevic was shot once, leading to his death shortly after. Gentry was taken into custody without incident and has been booked into the Fresno County Jail on charges of murder.
