Sunrise Community Health has announced the renaming of two school-based health clinics to improve accessibility and clarify their pediatric focus. The clinics, formerly known as Sunrise Madison Health Clinic and Kids Care Clinic, will now be called Sunrise Madison Children’s Clinic and Sunrise Centennial Children’s Clinic, respectively.

New Names Reflect Pediatric Focus

The name changes come as part of a broader initiative to help families easily identify the services available at these locations. By incorporating the term “Children’s” into their names, the clinics aim to highlight their dedication to pediatric care. Mitzi Moran, CEO of Sunrise Community Health, emphasized the organization’s commitment to providing an extensive range of services tailored to children.

In a recent press statement, Moran stated, “We’re passionate about our comprehensive approach to pediatric services — everything from well child visits and sports physicals to behavioral health, dental care, and beyond.” This change is designed not only to simplify navigation for families but also to underscore the high-quality care available in their neighborhoods.

Community-Centric Approach

The decision to rename these clinics aligns with Sunrise Community Health’s mission to ensure accessible healthcare for children in the Evans area. The organization believes that by clearly identifying their clinics, they can foster greater community engagement and awareness regarding available pediatric health services.

These enhancements reflect an ongoing commitment to meeting the needs of the community while ensuring that families are aware of the complete range of healthcare options for their children. The newly named clinics will continue to provide vital health services to local families, reinforcing the idea that quality care is just around the corner.
