Purdue’s Matt Painter Achieves 500th Win in Commanding Victory
UPDATE: In a thrilling matchup, No. 2 Purdue University defeated Akron **97-79** on **November 12, 2023**, marking a monumental milestone for head coach **Matt Painter** as he secured his **500th career win**. The victory, achieved at Purdue’s home court in **West Lafayette, Indiana**, solidifies Painter’s legacy with **475 wins** at Purdue and an additional **25 wins** from his time at Southern Illinois.
