The well, measuring approximately 18 inches in diameter and plunging 20 feet deep, posed a significant challenge for rescue teams. Harrison County Fire and Rescue reported that the rescue took place on Saturday, just days after Rascal’s unfortunate fall.

In a post on Facebook, HCFR explained, “We were granted permission to break up the floor above the well opening.” Firefighters acted swiftly, securing the area with a sheet of plywood to protect Rascal from falling debris during the operation.
