Fairfield Man Arrested for Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material

The operation took place early this morning, July 25, 2023, at approximately 7:00 a.m. on the 2000 block of Fairfield Avenue, as part of an ongoing investigation by local law enforcement.

The suspect, identified as 38-year-old Matthew Rios, was apprehended at the scene by the Solano County Sheriff’s Office, which was supported by the Vacaville Police Department and Benicia Police Department. Authorities reported the discovery of multiple electronic devices in Rios’ residence, which will now undergo a thorough forensic examination.
