The session begins with a brief warm-up to prepare the body for movement, followed by a structured walking routine consisting of 20 seconds of active movement paired with 10 seconds of walking. The active segments involve simple movements like foot taps and lateral steps, while the walking portions focus on walking in place.
According to Jules, this routine is designed to be easy on the joints, promoting an active lifestyle that fosters strength and independence. “This all-standing, low-impact routine is easy on the joints and designed to help you stay active, strong, and independent,” she states. For those with higher energy levels, participants can extend the moving segments to 30 seconds to elevate their heart rate further.
The workout features background music with a tempo of 116-117 beats per minute, allowing participants to achieve approximately 2,176 steps within the 20-minute session, making it both effective and enjoyable.

Engaging in this walking workout can yield numerous health benefits. Research indicates that walking for as little as 30 minutes a day can assist with weight loss, improve cardiovascular health, and strengthen bones, especially when coupled with a balanced diet.
