Beloved Community Leader Pam Francisco Passes at Age 100
UPDATE: The community mourns the loss of Pam Francisco, who passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025, at the remarkable age of 100. Born on April 3, 1925, in Cumberland, Wisconsin, Pam was a beacon of generosity and kindness, leaving a profound impact on all who knew her.
Pam was renowned for her unwavering commitment to helping others. For decades, she volunteered at St. Luke’s Hospital, hosted local Cub Scout meetings, and baked for countless community fundraisers. Her kitchen was a sanctuary where she shared not only her legendary recipes but also her love for connection and tradition. Every meal at Pam’s was a celebration of family and warmth, infused with her unique sense of humor that remained sharp even in her later years.
Pam is preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary (Lombard) Ricci, her beloved son, Craig Francisco, and twelve siblings. She is survived by her sons, Russ Francisco and Greg (Nancy) Francisco, along with five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, creating a legacy that spans generations.
A celebration of Pam’s extraordinary life is scheduled for November 1, 2025, at the Cremation Society in Duluth. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, followed by a service at 12:00 PM, where friends and family will gather to honor her memory with food and fellowship.
The profound sense of loss felt by those who knew Pam reflects the deep connections she fostered throughout her life. Her kindness and dedication to her community will not be forgotten, as she inspired many through her selfless actions and loving spirit.
