Born in San Giovanni e Paolo, Italy, Filomena moved to the United States in 1965 after marrying her late husband, Guido Piccirillo, in Caiazzo, Italy. A devoted member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Filomena was passionate about gardening, cooking, and caring for her grandchildren. Her family remembers her cherished vegetable garden and vibrant geraniums, which she cultivated with love.
She is survived by her children: Nicola “Nick” Piccirillo of Scotia, Lucia Ingriselli of Maple, Ontario, and John Piccirillo of Schenectady, along with her adored grandchildren, including Christina and Julianna Piccirillo, and Amanda and Sara Ingriselli, among others.
Filomena was also a beloved sister to Antonio, Stefano, and Angelo Califano, and was predeceased by her brother Giuseppe and sister Carmela Ingriselli. Her family extends their gratitude to her caregiver, Marjorie Cummings, and many nieces and nephews who surrounded her with love.

A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Monday, December 15th, at 10 AM at St. Anthony’s Church, 331 Seward Pl, Schenectady, followed by entombment at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests cash donations be made to organizations that supported Filomena during her battle with Alzheimer’s, specifically the Alzheimer’s Association – Northeastern New York and Consumer Directed Choices. Condolences can be shared at demarcostonefuneralhome.com.
Filomena’s passing marks the loss of a cherished figure in the Schenectady community, and her family encourages all who knew her to celebrate her life and the impact she made on those around her.
