Cejudo, known as “Triple C” for his unique achievement of being a champion in two UFC divisions and an Olympic gold medalist in freestyle wrestling, stated, “Saturday’s my last fight… I just feel like I’ve been able to learn a lot of new things in life, and I’m just ready for the second chapter.” His words resonate deeply as he prepares to conclude a remarkable career that began at age 11.
As fans gear up for this highly anticipated showdown, Cejudo reflected on the journey that led him here. “If there’s anything that kind of came up, it’s just a little bit of gratitude,” he shared, emphasizing the support from coaches and training partners throughout his career. “But other than that, bro, it’s all business in there.” His dedication to training and preparation remains evident, even as he approaches retirement.
Looking ahead, Cejudo mentioned his plans post-retirement, saying, “I’m dabbling in real estate and a bunch of other stuff.” He also expressed excitement about creating content through his platform, Pound 4 Pound, as he transitions into this next phase of life. “I want to enjoy the holidays,” he added, signaling a desire for a more balanced lifestyle.
