The boutique is praised for its curated selection of detailed pieces that elevate any occasion. Regular customers appreciate the personalized service, making costume shopping feel more like styling a character than just purchasing.

Surprisingly, 6% of participants indicated they intend to spend more this Halloween, viewing it as a necessary celebration after previous years of restraint.
Montana Capital’s COO, Shir Amram, commented, “Halloween should be fun, not financially frightening. Our survey shows that people still love the excitement of the season – they are just finding smarter ways to enjoy it.”
The survey reveals that 65% of participants are opting for cash or debit payments to control their budgets. 27% use credit cards, while 5% rely on family or friends for borrowing. Another 3% have turned to personal loans or “buy now, pay later” options.
When asked which Halloween traditions would go first if budgets tightened, 30% said decorations, followed closely by party expenses at 28%. Candy and costumes tied at 21% each. Despite these considerations, the majority still view Halloween as a worthy indulgence, with 70% describing it as “a small but worth-it treat.”
As the clock ticks down to Halloween, these stores and trends reflect a changing landscape in festive shopping. For many Connecticut residents, the spirit of Halloween remains alive and well, even as they navigate the challenges of budgeting.
