Buffalo Bills fans have a unique opportunity to skate alongside wide receiver Joshua Palmer and the team’s mascot, Billy Buffalo, during the upcoming Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield Mafia Skate. This event is scheduled for Saturday, December 6, 2023, at Ice at Canalside, located at 44 Prime Street in Buffalo, New York. The skating session will take place from 17:00 to 22:00 (5 p.m. to 10 p.m.).
In addition to skating with Palmer, attendees can engage in a variety of Buffalo-themed activities. The event will feature raffles, giveaways, and photo opportunities, allowing fans to create memorable moments. Participants are encouraged to wear their Bills gear, adding to the festive atmosphere. Those who come dressed in the most spirited attire will have a chance to win Zubaz bucket hats, courtesy of Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield.
A noteworthy aspect of the event is its charitable contribution. One dollar from every skate rental will be donated to benefit the Muslim Society of Buffalo. This initiative highlights the event’s community spirit and commitment to supporting local organizations. Additionally, members of Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield can enjoy a discount, receiving $1 off skate rentals and ice admission by presenting their member ID card.
Joshua Palmer is set to appear from 18:00 to 19:00 (6 p.m. to 7 p.m.), providing fans a chance to interact with the athlete and take photos. This event not only promotes community engagement but also fosters a sense of camaraderie among Bills fans, reinforcing the team’s connection to its supporters.
