Dolphins Eye Trade Opportunities Ahead of NFL Deadline

As the NFL Trade Deadline approaches on November 4, 2023, the Miami Dolphins are actively exploring trade possibilities. According to ESPN analysts Jeremy Fowler and Dan Graziano, the Dolphins could offload several players, including edge rushers and potentially key figures like Minkah Fitzpatrick or Jaylen Waddle.

The Dolphins currently sit at 1-6, a record that highlights their struggles this season. Fowler suggests that Miami might trade away two edge rushers, with Jaelan Phillips and Bradley Chubb being the most likely candidates. Phillips, despite facing injury setbacks, has garnered significant attention from other teams due to his potential. If Jaylen Wright were to be moved, his lack of production at the NFL level means he would likely return no more than a late-round pick.

Fitzpatrick stands out as a more valuable asset. His proven track record could net Miami a fourth-round pick, with the possibility of a conditional pick escalating to a third-round selection based on his performance and playing time.
