On November 8, 2025, the historic Fort Worth Stockyards will host the John Wayne Grit Series 5K, a trail run and walk benefiting the John Wayne Cancer Foundation. This event aims to support the foundation’s mission to combat cancer through innovative research, education, awareness, and patient assistance.

Participants will traverse the iconic Stockyards District, renowned for its cowboy culture and Western heritage.
