Khalid Announces 2026 Tour with Austin Concert on June 19
R&B sensation Khalid is set to return to the stage with his highly anticipated 2026 It’s Always Summer Somewhere Tour. The tour will feature a performance in Austin, Texas, at the Moody Amphitheater on June 19, 2026. This concert is part of a 25-date itinerary that kicks off in Las Vegas, Nevada, in May and wraps up in Berkeley, California, in June.
The tour includes major stops in cities like Irving on June 17 and Houston on June 18. Notably, Khalid will not be performing in his adopted hometown of El Paso, Texas, where he first gained recognition. The artist, who was born in Fort Stewart, Georgia, moved to El Paso during his high school years and embarked on his music career there.
Khalid, now 27 years old, first captured attention as a teenager on SoundCloud, leading to a string of successful collaborations and the critically acclaimed album American Teen. Over the years, he has collaborated with prominent artists such as Marshmello, Billie Eilish, Halsey, and Normani. His discography includes four albums, with his latest, After the Sun Goes Down, released in 2025.
The artist’s accolades include over 20 awards, among them five Billboard Music Awards in 2020 and the title of Best New Artist at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards. To date, he has received six Grammy nominations.
Joining Khalid on this tour will be pop artist Lauv, known for his breakout hit “I Like Me Better.” The duo promises to deliver memorable performances throughout the tour.
Tickets for the It’s Always Summer Somewhere Tour are currently available through an artist pre-sale. General sales will commence on December 12, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. via Khalid’s official website, khalidofficial.com.
This tour marks a significant moment for Khalid as he continues to engage with fans and showcase his musical evolution. With a blend of energetic performances and heartfelt lyrics, Khalid aims to bring the essence of summer back to audiences across North America.
