Charlie Puth Joins Star-Studded Lineup for Global Citizen Festival in Brazil
Charlie Puth will perform at the Global Citizen Festival: Amazônia>, taking place on November 1, 2024, in Belém, Brazil. This event aims to raise awareness and funds for the protection and restoration of the Amazon rainforest. Puth joins a notable lineup that includes Anitta, Chris Martin of Coldplay, and several influential Brazilian artists, highlighting the festival’s commitment to environmental causes.

The Global Citizen Festival, known for its advocacy and fundraising efforts, will feature a range of performers dedicated to amplifying the voices of indigenous peoples and local communities. Alongside Puth, artists such as Seu Jorge, Gilberto Gil, Gaby Amarantos, Eric Terena, Kae Guajajara, and Djuena Tikunal are set to take the stage at the Estádio Olímpico, also referred to as Mangueirão.
In addition, the festival will include a pre-show featuring Vivi Batidão, and presenters will include Alane Dias, Ricardinho, and Luiza Zveiter. Co-hosting the event will be well-known figures such as Regina Casé, Mel Fronckowiak, Hugo Gloss, and Isabelle Nogueira. Special appearances are expected from actors like Rodrigo Santoro and Estêvão Ciavatta.

This year’s festival carries the ambitious goal of raising $1 billion for the protection, restoration, and rewilding of the Amazon rainforest.
