Ravens’ Full Roster Practices Ahead of Crucial Matchup with Dolphins
The Baltimore Ravens reported a clean bill of health during their practice on Tuesday, marking a significant change from the injury struggles that have characterized their season. All 53 players on the active roster participated, including quarterback Lamar Jackson, who is expected to return for the Thursday night game against the Miami Dolphins in Miami.
Jackson has been sidelined since Week 4 due to a hamstring injury sustained in a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on September 28. In his absence, the Ravens have struggled, posting a record of 2-5. Backup quarterbacks Cooper Rush and Tyler Huntley have filled in, with Huntley leading the team to a win over the Chicago Bears. Head coach John Harbaugh expressed confidence in Jackson’s ability to return, stating on Monday that he “would expect” Jackson to be active against the Dolphins.
The Ravens added a few names to their injury report earlier in the week, though this was primarily an estimation for a walk-through practice. Veteran left tackle Ronnie Stanley (ankle), rookie linebacker Teddye Buchanan (calf), cornerback Nate Wiggins (groin), and cornerback T.J. Tampa (shoulder) were all listed as limited participants but practiced fully on Tuesday.
Compounding the injury concerns on the defensive line, Nnamdi Madubuike has been ruled out for the season due to a neck injury, and Tavius Robinson was placed on injured reserve with a foot injury. To bolster the defensive unit, the Ravens signed veteran pass rusher Carl Lawson, who could make his debut as early as Thursday.
As the Ravens prepare for this critical match against the Dolphins, the return of their two-time Most Valuable Player could prove pivotal in reversing their fortunes this season. The team hopes to secure a much-needed victory in a game that many consider a must-win for their playoff aspirations.
