NASHVILLE, Tennessee — Todd Snider, a prominent figure in the alt-country and Americana music scene, has passed away at the age of 59. His family confirmed the news on his Instagram page on March 15, 2024, stating that he had developed serious breathing issues which led to his hospitalization in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Medical examinations revealed that he was suffering from an undiagnosed case of walking pneumonia.
