Techman Robot Unveils AI Innovations to Transform Manufacturing at iREX 2025
Techman Robot has introduced groundbreaking technologies aimed at revolutionizing manufacturing efficiency during the International Robot Exhibition (iREX) 2025, held at Tokyo Big Sight. Under the theme “AI Instant Decision, Seamless Productivity Upgrade,” the company unveiled its High-Speed AI Flying Trigger Inspection system and innovative “Auto AI Training” technology, marking a significant advancement in zero-downtime production.
The High-Speed AI Flying Trigger Inspection system serves as the centerpiece of Techman Robot’s exhibition. This technology leverages the Nvidia Omniverse platform to facilitate precise simulation and optimization of high-speed robot motion control alongside advanced AI visual algorithms. This approach allows for real-time responsiveness and exceptional precision, enabling seamless integration of high-speed motion with AI vision. As a result, the system performs zero-latency defect detection and quality control while workpieces are in motion, a departure from traditional inspection methods that necessitate production line pauses.
According to Techman Robot, clients implementing this system can expect to reduce inspection times by an average of 40 to 50 percent. This efficiency significantly optimizes cycle times, making the technology particularly advantageous for high-standard applications in sectors such as automotive components and server assembly. The system is designed to adhere to the rigorous “zero defect” standards prevalent in the Japanese automotive and precision manufacturing industries, effectively minimizing human error and reducing labor costs.
In addition to the inspection system, Techman Robot addressed the industry-wide challenge of complicated AI adoption with its revolutionary “Auto AI Training” technology. This solution can cut the time needed to implement AI visual inspections by up to 90 percent. It empowers frontline production staff to label, train, and optimize AI vision models in real-time, significantly decreasing reliance on specialized AI engineers and facilitating quicker adjustments on the production line.
Techman Robot also showcased a demonstration of printer inspection technology, which integrates collaborative robots (cobots), grippers, and AI vision. This combination performs rapid and precise quality checks on intricate electronic assemblies, further illustrating the potential of their innovations.
To cater to the urgent demand for quick deployment and return on investment, Techman Robot launched its “Instant Cobot Ready” automation suite. A notable feature of this suite is the Instant Palletizer, capable of supporting payloads of up to 35 kg. This solution is tailored for continuous stacking operations, offering logistics and packaging sectors a “plug-and-play” option that maximizes investment efficiency and accelerates automation transformation.
Dr. Scott Huang, Chief Operating Officer of Techman Robot, emphasized the importance of iREX as a platform for displaying advanced robotics technologies. He stated, “Techman Robot is not merely a manufacturer of collaborative robots; we are a leader in AI-driven automation solutions. Through close collaboration with global partners like Nvidia, we are committed to providing AI collaborative applications that are easier to adopt and deliver faster results, leading the manufacturing industry into the next wave of smart upgrades.”
As the manufacturing sector continues to evolve, Techman Robot’s innovations are poised to play a crucial role in enhancing productivity and efficiency, setting new standards for the industry.
