Bloomberg Law and Courtroom Insight Unite to Enhance Legal Intelligence
Bloomberg Law and Courtroom Insight have formed a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing legal data and analytics for their mutual clients. Announced on November 20, 2025, this collaboration allows users to seamlessly integrate Bloomberg Law’s comprehensive docket data into Courtroom Insight’s solutions, specifically the CI Directory and CI Matter Connector.
The partnership enables law firms to perform consolidated searches that incorporate data from Bloomberg Law, Courtroom Insight, and their own internal systems. This holistic approach is expected to improve the efficiency of legal research by allowing firms to uncover connections and insights that were previously siloed.
Through the integration, users will be able to link directly to Bloomberg Law’s underlying content. This capability is designed to streamline research workflows, helping legal professionals eliminate time-consuming searches across various platforms. The integration will also facilitate the generation of customizable narratives, which can enhance responses to requests for proposals (RFPs) and pitches, as well as highlight litigation trends and support predictive analytics.
Bobby Puglia, Chief Product Officer at Bloomberg Industry Group, emphasized the significance of this collaboration. “At Bloomberg Law, we are committed to helping legal professionals turn data into insight by integrating our industry-leading dockets data with Courtroom Insight’s platform. This partnership provides a more connected view of legal matters, enabling faster analysis and stronger results for clients,” Puglia stated.
On the other hand, Mark Torchiana, CEO of Courtroom Insight, highlighted the importance of structured data in making informed decisions. “Our mission is to provide clean, structured, and connected data about legal professionals and matters. With Bloomberg Law’s docket data, our clients can move beyond siloed information and make faster, smarter decisions that directly impact their business development and case strategies,” Torchiana noted.
This collaboration marks a significant step towards enhancing the capabilities of legal firms in utilizing data effectively for business development and case management. By integrating these advanced tools, law firms can expect to unlock deeper insights and improve overall operational efficiency.
