Aetina Unveils Advanced MXM AI Modules Powered by NVIDIA Blackwell
Aetina Corporation has launched its next-generation MXM AI Accelerator Module series, driven by NVIDIA’s RTX PRO Blackwell Embedded GPUs. This new product line is designed to enhance performance in autonomous robotics, manufacturing equipment, and medical devices, delivering industrial-grade reliability and cutting-edge AI computing efficiency at the edge.
The CoreEdge MXM AI Module family signifies a leap in computing power, offering up to three times the AI performance uplift compared to previous models. This substantial enhancement sets a new standard for advanced AI applications deployed in edge environments, where space and power constraints are critical.
Revolutionizing AI Performance in Critical Applications
Aetina’s new modules are compact, efficient, and rugged, adhering to the MXM 3.1 industrial standard. They are engineered for high-precision and high-density workloads in various demanding applications, including autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), smart manufacturing equipment, and medical assistance systems. By utilizing NVIDIA’s Blackwell GPU architecture, Aetina brings the capabilities of generative AI and physical AI closer to the operational edge.
The flagship model, the MX5000B-XA, features the NVIDIA RTX PRO 5000 Blackwell GPU, equipped with 10,496 CUDA cores, 80 RT cores, and 320 Tensor cores. This model achieves an impressive 40.62 TFLOPS of FP32 performance. Validation tests show that it performs twice as fast in large language model (LLM) inference compared to previous iterations and delivers 80% faster AI inference performance in Geekbench benchmarks.
The enhancements provided by the Blackwell architecture allow for a remarkable increase in AI computing throughput, enabling the deployment of sophisticated AI models in environments that demand low latency and high throughput.
Engineered for Industrial-Grade Reliability
Aetina’s MXM AI modules are designed to occupy only one-fifth of the board space required by traditional graphics cards while maintaining performance comparable to workstation-class computing. Unlike commercial-grade products, the Aetina series complies with stringent industrial standards. The modules can operate within a wide temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and are equipped with dust- and moisture-resistant conformal coatings.
Additional features include adjustable thermal graphics power (TGP) settings and high-vibration resistant mounting holes, ensuring secure installation in challenging environments. Aetina also commits to a five-year product lifecycle support, ensuring long-term stability for customers.
The rigorous engineering practices used in the development of these modules include extensive thermal cycling tests, cold boot testing, and complete chamber testing before shipment. This meticulous approach provides assurance to system integrators and developers deploying these modules in critical applications.
Aetina also offers evaluation kits with PCIe Gen4 x16 interfaces and HDMI outputs designed to facilitate development and simplify integration.
“Aetina’s CoreEdge embedded MXM AI accelerator module series demonstrates our commitment to delivering exceptional performance and reliability,” said Jackal Chen, Director of AI Accelerator Card & GPU Products Division at Aetina. He emphasized that the incorporation of NVIDIA Blackwell technology, paired with Aetina’s engineering expertise, meets the demands of even the most challenging environments. This preparation positions Aetina at the forefront of the AI revolution, ready to support multimodal applications and real-time AI-accelerated computing.
The MX5000B-XA and MX500B-QA are now available for purchase, while the MX4000B and MX2000B modules are set to enter mass production in March 2026. For further information regarding Aetina’s innovative products, visit www.aetina.com.
