Louis Vuitton Launches Enchanting Holiday Campaign for 2025
Louis Vuitton has unveiled its 2025 holiday campaign, titled ‘Le Voyage des Lumières’, which celebrates the theme of light through an imaginative travel-inspired film and a series of festive pop-up events. Directed by Jonas Lindstroem, known for his distinguished work with luxury brands like Hermès and Audemars Piguet, the film showcases a monogrammed lantern’s journey from the Vuitton workshops near Paris to a stunning winter landscape where it illuminates the night sky against the backdrop of the northern lights.
The cinematic experience captures various joyful scenes, including people playing backgammon and dancing around a campfire next to a Music Trunk equipped with a record turntable. A couple is seen gazing at a frozen lake, symbolizing connection and warmth amid the chilly surroundings. The film culminates with a breathtaking display of floating lanterns over the iconic Paris skyline, watched by a mother and child from the historic Pont Neuf, located near Vuitton’s headquarters.
Pop-Up Events and Holiday Collections
This campaign marks only the second collaboration between Vuitton and Lindstroem, who previously created imagery for the Tambour Street Diver watch in 2023. The accompanying print advertisements feature classic handbag styles, including the black My Capucines, a red Speedy P9, and the Monogram canvas Side Trunk and Speedy bags.
To further engage consumers, Louis Vuitton has launched pop-up stores that began on November 1, 2025 and will remain open for 15 days. One location is situated in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, set to operate from November 27 until January 4, 2026, while another will be at the Westfield shopping center in Sydney from November 18 until the end of December. These pop-ups will showcase the holiday collection and create an immersive experience for visitors.
The holiday campaign’s imagery will also inspire window displays worldwide, characterized by a midnight-blue theme adorned with Chinese lantern illuminations, trunks, and elements inspired by the Vuitton family home in Asnières. This vibrant aesthetic will include blossoming flowers and stars, reflecting the renowned Monogram canvas motif.
As the campaign unfolds, it coincides with the traditional Yi Peng lantern festival, celebrated in Chiang Mai, northern Thailand. During this event, thousands gather to release floating rice paper lanterns, known as “khom loi,” into the sky as an offering to the Buddha, creating a striking parallel between the cultural traditions and Louis Vuitton’s festive themes.
Louis Vuitton’s latest campaign not only highlights its luxury products but also connects with broader cultural moments, aiming to inspire joy and togetherness during the holiday season.
