The Whale’s Tale, a beloved restaurant in Northport, will serve its final dinner on November 8, 2023, marking the end of a 16-year run. Located at the Britannia Yachting Center on Fort Salonga Road, the waterfront establishment has been a community favorite known for its scenic views of Northport Harbor.
Farewell Events Scheduled
In anticipation of its closure, The Whale’s Tale will host a series of farewell celebrations starting on November 1, 2023. The events aim to commemorate the restaurant’s legacy and invite patrons to share their memories one last time. Highlighting this week of festivities, the restaurant will hold its final Taco Tuesday on November 4, featuring an array of tacos, tequila, and nostalgic music.
The farewell celebrations will continue with a Final Friday Happy Hour on November 7, culminating in a grand finale dinner on the closing night of November 8. An official post on the restaurant’s Instagram expressed their sentiments: “Northport, this is it. After 16 unforgettable years, we’re saying goodbye the only way we know how—with one final week full of good vibes, good people, and great memories. GET DOWN HERE; LET’S MAKE IT COUNT!”
