UPDATE: The Fresno Chaffee Zoo is officially kicking off its exciting Halloween festivities today, October 23, 2023, with the much-anticipated ZooBoo event! Families are invited to join from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on October 23-25 for an unforgettable evening filled with educational experiences, photo opportunities, and Halloween-themed fun.
This year, the zoo introduces a new dimension to their Halloween celebration with the inaugural Sniffari Night, taking place on October 26. For the first time ever, pet owners can explore the zoo alongside their dogs, making it a unique experience for both two-legged and four-legged visitors. Action News’ own Vanessa Vasconcelos will be emceeing a delightful puppy parade, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Guests will have the chance to meet Gail, a dedicated Zoological Care Specialist, who will showcase Zena, the energetic box turtle, proving that not all turtles are slow! This interactive experience allows attendees to learn while enjoying the sights and sounds of the zoo’s Halloween transformation.
