Raiders Fall Short in 102-88 Defeat Against NDSCS

BREAKING: The Central Lakes College Raiders suffered a disappointing 102-88 defeat against North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS) on Saturday, November 29. Star player Korde Roseman led the Raiders with 21 points and five rebounds, but it wasn’t enough to secure a win as the team grapples with a challenging season.

The Raiders showcased depth with their bench contributing a staggering 51 points out of the total, highlighting the team’s resilience. Max Wilson scored 15 points, while Delbert Hardin added 12 and Eli Tautges chipped in with 11 points. Despite these efforts, the Raiders’ defense struggled against NDSCS, allowing a total of 102 points.

In a game characterized by offensive exchanges, Anthony Giadyu led the team with six assists alongside his four points. Other notable contributions came from Wylee Dauenbaugh with six points and Marshawn Watson with seven points.

NDSCS came out strong, with Luke Christensen leading their scoring with 24 points. The team shot 42.3% from the field and capitalized on free-throw opportunities, shooting 78.6% from the line.

The Raiders are now looking to bounce back as they prepare to host Minnesota State Community and Technical College at 7:30 p.m. on December 2. This upcoming matchup is critical for the Raiders to regain momentum as they strive to improve their record, currently standing at 2-4.
