East Grand Forks Police Launch Online Auction for Vehicles
The East Grand Forks Police Department is conducting an online auction featuring three former squad cars and six additional vehicles that were seized due to driving under the influence or drug-related offenses. The auction opened at 10:00 on December 2, 2023, and will remain active until December 16, 2023, with closing times ranging from 14:00 to 19:50.
Among the vehicles available are a 2022 Ford Explorer, two 2021 Ford Explorers, a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu, a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze, a 2010 Dodge Challenger, a 2006 Volkswagen Passat, a 2005 Nissan Murano, and a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee. These vehicles, once part of law enforcement operations or seized in connection with criminal activities, are now up for public bidding.
How to Participate in the Auction
Interested bidders can view the available vehicles by visiting www.GovDeals.com/EastGrandForksMN. Registration on the site is required to place bids. In addition to the cars, the auction includes bundles of bicycles and scooters.
Viewing of the vehicles is limited to the East Grand Forks Police Department’s location at 520 DeMers Ave.. It’s important to note that staff will not be able to open or start the vehicles for potential bidders; however, the online listings provide detailed information regarding each vehicle’s mileage, title status, seizure reason, and overall condition.
This auction presents an opportunity for the community to acquire vehicles while also supporting police department initiatives. The East Grand Forks Police Department encourages interested individuals to take part in this event before it concludes on December 16.
